Calendula oil has many beneficial qualities for the skin.  It has been used since Ancient Greece and its benefits are still here today to be enjoyed.

Its renown properties for the skin are as anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant.  Those properties are most beneficial for skin’s repair.

Here are some ways to make use of calendula oil to maximise skin repair.

  • Facial oil

Use pure calendula oil as a facial oil. A few drops dabbed on your face after a light cleanse will penetrate, nourish and repair.

  • Night time routine

Apply pure calendula oil at night time and let it repair your skin while you sleep.

  • Before moisturiser

The calendula oil can be applied and left to penetrate a few minutes before using your day or night cream.  It adds a nurturing effect for the skin.  It helps to refine the grain of your skin.

  • Before applying make-up

Before to apply your make-up use a few drops of calendula oil.  Wait a few minutes so it penetrates and “voilà” you are ready to apply your make up with a natural base that will help to repair your skin.

  • After sun repair

You have had too much sun?  You had a harsh skin treatment that has left your skin red, raw, irritated?  Calendula oil applied as often as needed will soothe, calm and repair the damages in a only a few days.

  • Repair around the eyes

Calendula oil is gentle enough to be applied on the delicate skin around the eyes.  It helps to reduce damages done by time and weather elements.
